About Andy Kunkle

With over 25 years of IT leadership spanning Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC), healthcare, and biotechnology, Andy Kunkle brings deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud architecture, software development, and AI-powered business solutions.

Andy is the co-founder of Cinch, an AI-powered construction knowledge platform that helps project teams capture, organize, and surface lessons learned from jobsite conversations, enabling better decisions and reducing costly rework in the field.

In addition to his industry work, Andy actively teaches AI in Construction at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), preparing the next generation of construction professionals to understand the value of data and how AI can transform operations throughout the project lifecycle. He and his wife have also established an endowed scholarship at FGCU, supporting students pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Software Engineering, creating opportunities for future technology leaders.

Throughout his career, Andy has worked closely with industry leaders like Microsoft, applying platforms such as Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure, and Copilot to help companies modernize operations, streamline workflows, and better integrate their business data. His hands-on experience spans system integration, application development, data warehousing, business intelligence, and IT operations across multiple industries and organizational sizes.
